Through ongoing efforts from SPD Detectives, investigators have identified one of the suspected shooters as Rasson Smith Jr. An active warrant has been issued for Smith on Attempted Second Degree Murder charges in connection with the mass shooting.

SPD says additional charges may be added to the warrant as more information is forthcoming.

Smith is a suspected gang member and is considered armed and dangerous. If you see Smith or know of his whereabouts, SPD is urging the public to not approach him as SPD believes Smith will not hesitate to use a gun. Instead, contact SPD immediately with his location.

SPD hopes to bring Smith to justice to bring some resolution to this violent incident.

From SPD:

"SPD believes additional suspects were involved, and further arrests and charges are expected as evidence develops. More information will be released as it becomes available.

The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of Smith to contact SPD at 318-673-7300."
