Suspect Wanted for Questioning in Shreveport's Latest Homicide

The Shreveport Police are requesting the public’s help in solving a homicide, near the intersection of Mayfield Street and Roberts Street.

The Shreveport Police Department Homicide Unit are searching for Dwayne Lawrence Williams, who is a highly sought person of interest and is believed to have information related to Shreveport's first homicide of 2026.

Williams is wanted strictly for questioning at this time in reference to this investigation. SPD believes he may have critical information that could help in bringing clarity to this case.

"Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Dwayne Lawrence Williams, or information related to this homicide, is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300"
