Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Having Several Stolen Things

Last week Shreveport Police found a stolen pickup truck driving down Youree Drive.

SPD stopped the truck and immediately detained Taylor Rust. While going through the stolen truck Police found several things that appeared to be stolen as well. SPD Property Crimes Detectives were called in, and after an investigation Haughton PD got involved as well.

Haughton Police told SPD that Rust had used the truck to transport stolen things including lawn equipment, hardware tools and containers, and a stolen firearm accompanied by approximately 600 rounds of ammunition.

Rust was arrested for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things in Shreveport and is facing 2 more charges for the thefts out of Haughton.
