
Shreveport Police Arrest Two Men for Stealing Cars From a Dealership
Two men from South Louisiana are in custody after being caught attempting to steal cars from a local dealership over the weekend.
SPD Officers were called to East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in reference to a burglary in progress. Officers quickly established a perimeter and took two suspects into custody.
Officers discovered the suspects were in possession of a device used to program key fobs, allowing them to access and steal vehicles, as well as additional tools associated with car theft.
The suspects have been identified as:
· Elijah Barnaba of Opelousas, LA
· Jacolby Castille of Lafayette, LA
Both men have been charged with:
· Two counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle
· One count of Criminal Damage to Property
· One count of Criminal Trespass
· One count of Possession of Burglary Tools
· One count of Resisting an Officer
