Shreveport Man Arrested for Stabbing a Teenager
On Easter Sunday, Shreveport Police got a call to Peach Street to reports of a stabbing.
When SPD and Paramedics got to the scene, they found a 17 year-old with a stab-wound below his left shoulder. The teen told Police someone he knew had stabbed him. Shreveport Fire Department Medics patched the teen up at the scene before rushing him to the hospital for treatment.
SPD Patrol Officer started the hunt for the man the teen said had stabbed him. Officers were able to locate Jason Fisher Jr. fairly quickly and he was detained. SPD Violent Crimes Investigators were called to the scene to investigate further.
After Fisher was interviewed by Detectives he was arrested for one count of Aggravated Battery. Fisher was also found to have two fugitive warrants out of Bossier.
The teen was released later that same day and is expected to make a full recovery.
