Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Case

Yesterday morning Shreveport Police were called to Regent Street with reports of a stabbing.

SPD got to the scene and found a man with a stab wound on his shoulder. The man said that he was stabbed by his domestic partner during a heated argument. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his stab wound.

Police launched an investigation and were able to determine that Tatyana Thomas stabbed the man during the fight. Thomas was still at the scene of the crime, and she was immediately arrested by SPD.

Thomas is looking at 2 charges:

· One count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Serious Bodily Injury

· One count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
