Shreveport Student Arrested for Making Shooting Threats
A Caddo Sheriff's School Resource Officer arrested a 17-year-old student at Woodlawn High School after the student made a threat to shoot up the school, said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.
On August 30, SRO Stanley Williams observed a male subject attempting to enter the Woodlawn High School campus from the rear. The subject, dressed in all black, was advised to enter the school from the front but instead continued to walk away towards the rear of the building and hid behind a trash dumpster.
Deputy Williams and school administrators immediately made contact with the subject, who began making threats to harm a female and to shoot up the school. The subject was detained and continued to make threats. The subject was identified as Issac Pickrom, a student at Woodlawn.
Issac was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for charges of Terrorizing and Resisting Arrest. No weapons were found, and no injuries resulted from this incident.
