Shreveport Man Arrested After Shooting Incident
The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 27-year-old Patrick Seamster in connection with a shooting incident that took place on May 14th, 2024, in the 100 block of Taliaferro Street.
On May 14th, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, it was determined that Patrick Seamster was the suspect involved in the incident. Patrol officers swiftly took Seamster into custody.
Patrick Seamster has been charged with one count of illegal use of a weapon. Thanks to the legislation passed in February 2024, re-establishing the illegal use of a weapon as a violent offense under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:2, law enforcement authorities are now able to release the booking photograph of these suspects.
We are required to remind that all suspects are innocent until found guilty.
