Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Shooting at Apartments
On Easter Sunday, Shreveport Police responded to a shots-fired call at the Villa Del Lago Apartments on Milam Street.
When SPD showed up to the scene, they found several shell-casings on the ground at the apartments. SPD started interviewing witnesses and asking about what happened.
A follow-up investigation on Monday had Detectives checking security camera footage to see if they could ID who fired the shots. While checking cameras SPD noted a young man with dreadlocks shooting aimlessly on the property.
After an intense investigation SPD found a person of interest. A tenant at the complex, Decoreyon Roberson. Roberson was tracked-down and arrested before being taken to Shreveport City Jail. Roberson has been charged with Illegal Use of a Weapon and Obstruction of Justice.
