Back in 2022, 64 year-old Timmy Lee Kepney molested a girl under the age of 13. The girl told her mother about the disgusting act, and the mother immediately told SPD what her daughter told her.

The girl was taken to Gingerbread House where she was examined by a sexual assault nurse, and tell detectives about the sexual act Kepney performed on her. Police were able to track down and arrest Kepney, and while he was being interviewed by Police, he admitted to touching the child inappropriately. In court, Kepney denied his admission but the Jury didn't buy it.

It took the Jury only one hour to come back with a guilty verdict for Kepney. Kepney will return to court in June for sentencing. The penalty for sexual battery of a juvenile under the age of 13 is 25 to 99 years in prison.

From Caddo District Court:

Kepney was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Jason Waltman and Christopher Bowman. He was defended by Katherine Ferguson and Hilary Hileman.
