Shreveport Man Wanted for Sexual Battery Arrested

The Shreveport Police Department's Sex Crimes Unit has now arrested 20-year-old Cannon Link, who was wanted for a warrant related to a sexual battery case involving a 15-year-old juvenile victim.

The case was initiated on December 3, 2024, when detectives received a report of sexual assault. During a forensic interview at the Gingerbread House, the victim disclosed that she was under the influence of alcohol, provided by Cannon Link, when the assault occurred. Detectives gathered additional evidence, including text messages, to support the investigation.

On December 26, 2024, a warrant for one count of Sexual Battery was issued and signed by the Honorable Judge Mosley. The Shreveport Police Department arrested Link on December 30th following a lengthy search.
