Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Sexual Assault Case
On September 16th, 2023, the Shreveport Police Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a complaint of a female being sexually assaulted by an adult male. Detectives responded and began an investigation into a sexual assault reportedly by Willie Green (2/10/00).
Investigation into this incident led to detectives interviewing Green. Upon the completion of the interview Detectives charged Green with one count of 1st Degree Rape.
If convicted Green could face up to life in prison. We are required to remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
