Shreveport Police Sex Crimes detectives are actively seeking the public's help to locate 20 year-old suspect Kayden Mitte, who is wanted in connection with a sexual assault involving a juvenile.

The investigation began on July 18, 2025, when police responded to Ochsner LSU Health following a report of the assault. A 14-year-old female victim disclosed a sexual encounter with Mitte.

Based on the evidence gathered, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Mitte on September 2, 2025, on charges:

  • Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile (La. R.S. 14:80)
  • Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile (La. R.S. 14:81).

Kayden Mitte remains at large. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7373 or 318-673-7300. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers or the P3 Tips app. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
