Shreveport Man Wanted for Sex Crimes Lands More Allegations
Back in November, the Shreveport Police Department started an investigation into a Shreveport man after hearing allegations of sexual misconduct involving two juveniles.
Detectives interviewed a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old victim, who gave detailed descriptions of criminal and indecent behavior.
The investigation led to arrest warrants charging Joseph Little with four counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and one count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Investigators with SPD say that Little is a registered and convicted sex offender who has already been convicted of Aggravated Rape and has a history of crimes against children.
Detectives are urging the public to help SPD in locating this convicted sex offender, who is once again accused of crimes targeting juveniles.
SPD is advising the public that harboring or concealing a fugitive, juvenile, or an person wanted for crimes against children is illegal under Louisiana law and may result in criminal charges.
From SPD:
"Protecting children is not optional — it is our duty. We need the community to stand with us and say clearly that these disgusting crimes will not be tolerated.
The Shreveport Police Department considers the safety of our youth a top priority and will continue to pursue Little relentlessly until he is removed from our streets and brought before the courts.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joseph Little is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373."
