Shreveport Man Arrested for Sex Crimes Against a Juvenile

Back in October, detectives with the Shreveport Police Department initiated an investigation into a reported sexual assault involving a juvenile.

As part of the investigation, a 16-year-old participated in a forensic Gingerbread House interview, which she gave detailed information regarding the incident. Detectives conducted an investigation that included a collection of digital evidence related to the crime.

Based on the information, arrest warrants were issued for the suspect. Earlier this week, SPD Detectives contacted 23 year-old Corinthian Walters. Walters was taken into custody and transported to the Shreveport City Jail.

He has been charged with Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Misdemeanor Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.
