Shreveport Man Sentenced for Child and Animal Pornography

A Shreveport man who was arrested for possessing child and animal porn has been sentenced to prison.

27 year-old Jacob Butler plead guilty in Caddo Court back in April. When he was arrested, he had pictures that he had uploaded and downloaded to his phone that showed sexual abuse involving children and animals.

Butler was originally set to go to trial for these crimes this month, but since he plead guilty in April, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison at hard labor, and has to register as a sex offender for 25 years after his release.

Butler was caught thanks to a cyber-tip to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office saying that he had the disgusting and illegal pictures on his phone.
