Shreveport Police Searching for Attempted Murder Suspect

Shreveport Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is wanted in connection with a shooting that happened on Broadway Avenue.

When SPD got to the scene, Officers located an adult male suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was taken by the Shreveport Fire Department to Ochsner Health, where he underwent emergency surgery. He remains in critical condition.

Violent Crimes Detectives immediately launched an investigation. Through witness interviews, neighborhood canvasses, and additional investigative efforts, Detectives developed information identifying a suspect known by a nickname. Investigators ultimately identified the suspect as Anthony Price, and that identification was positively confirmed.

Based on the evidence, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Anthony Price with Attempted Second Degree Murder.

Detectives continue actively searching for Price, and additional efforts to locate and apprehend him are ongoing.
