Seeking Identity of Man Who Pulled Gun on Woman and Child

Shreveport Police are actively working to identify a suspect who reportedly pulled a firearm on a woman and a child near South Highlands Magnet Elementary.

The incident, which happened close to the school, is being taken extremely seriously due to the danger posed to both the victims and the surrounding community.

Investigators have released images of the suspect and the vehicle involved in hopes that members of the public can assist in identifying the individual responsible.

Detectives believe that the public may recognize the suspect or the vehicle and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

"Anyone who can identify the suspect or has information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Shreveport Police Department. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.

Shreveport Police remain committed to protecting the safety of our community and will continue to pursue those who threaten it."
