Shreveport Man Arrested for Child Porn and Animal Abuse

This week, the Caddo Sheriff's Special Victims Unit arrested a man for child pornography and sex acts with an animal.

Earlier in the week, CPSO's Special Victims unit completed an investigation and was able to get a search warrant for a home on Grimmett Drive. The investigation was sparked when CPSO found evidence that illegal child images had been shared with 33 year-old Johnathan Collins.

After the warrant was executed, and Collins' electronics were searched Deputies found him to not only be in possession of child pornography, but evidence showed that he was also involved in the sexual abuse of an animal.

Collis was arrested and taken to the Caddo Correctional Center where he was charged with 12 count of pornography involving juveniles, and one count of animal sexual abuse.
