[UPDATE] Runaway Teenaged Girl Found at Abandoned Highland Home

[UPDATE]  Patrol officers have located runaway 14-year-old Nhyiah Gremillion.  They found her at an abandoned home in the Highland neighborhood following a concerned citizen's tip. 

[ORIGINAL STORY]  Shreveport police detectives need help locating a teenaged girl who has apparently run away. The girl's mother says 14-year-old Nhyiah Gremillion ran away from her home in the 1000 block of Highland Avenue yesterday and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Nhyiah is a black female, about 5'5" tall and 105 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a short blue jean jacket, blue jeans and a pink and black plaid shirt. She was wearing pink ballerina shoes and carrying a pink duffle bag with her name embroidered on it.

Nhyiah is not from Shreveport, and she was last seen near Centenary Boulevard in the Highland neighborhood. If you know where she is, call Shreveport detectives at 673-2583, or Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
