Shreveport Police Searching for Man Accused of Violent Abuse
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police search for man accused of battering former partner
Shreveport Police detectives are asking the public’s help to locate a man accused of battering an ex-partner earlier this month.
On October 18, 2023, an adult female victim reported that her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Combs Jr (2-20-1990) entered her residence without permission and struck her multiple times on her head, chest, and legs with a mop handle. There were four minor children present during the violent encounter as well as two adult witnesses.
Investigators with the Domestic Violence Unit conducted a follow-up investigation into the matter, reviewed videos and photos, and established probable cause to procure warrants charging Combs Jr with one (1) count of Home Invasion one (1) count of Battery of a Dating Partner (second offense), and four (4) counts of Battery of a Dating Partner Child Endangerment Law. No bond was set.
Investigators have searched for Combs Jr but have been unable to locate him. They are asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Combs Jr. is asked to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 #3. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information leading to Comb’s arrest.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
