Two Men Wanted in Armed Robbery Incident

The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two individuals wanted in connection with a carjacking and armed robbery.

On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at approximately 4:25 PM, Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to reports of a carjacking in the 3700 block of Richmond Street. According to the victim, two Black males approached him, ordered him out of his vehicle, and forcibly took his wallet and cellphone before fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle.

Several days later, the vehicle was located in Oklahoma City, OK. Investigative efforts led detectives to identify 22-year-old Jeremiah Johnson and 22-year-old Jaivion White, both with ties to the Shreveport/Bossier City area, as the suspects in the case. Evidence uncovered during the investigation confirmed that Johnson and White were armed with firearms during the commission of the robbery.

On Thursday, December 5, 2024, detectives with the SPD Violent Crimes Unit obtained arrest warrants for both suspects:
