Shreveport police are on the hunt for a woman accused in a series of financial crimes. Linda Fitzpatrick is suspected of being a repeat offender who has been on the run for more than a month.

What Crimes Is Suspect Wanted for?

Detectives believe Fitzpatrick committed bank fraud involving Barksdale Federal Credit Union back on May 29. She is also suspected in another bank fraud case from earlier in May. That crime resulted in a warrant being issued for her arrest in early June. But detectives could not catch up with her.

While checking out her suspected crimes, detectives also discovered that Fitzpatrick is wanted for felony theft related to a separate case involving the theft of over $11,000 from another victim.

Right now, there are two active warrants for Fitzpatrick on bank fraud charges and another warrant for felony theft.

Fitzpatrick is considered an habitual financial offender, and police are urging the public to step up with any information to help find her and get her behind bars.

Anyone with information on Linda Fitzpatrick’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373. All tips can remain anonymous.

SPD also issued this statement:

"We also urge employees of financial institutions to remain vigilant and to contact law enforcement immediately if Fitzpatrick attempts to conduct any transactions. Let’s work together to take this nuisance criminal off the streets."
