SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Search for Man Wanted for Rape

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Unit are searching for 39-year-old Julius Amos in reference to a sexual assault that occurred in June 2024. Officers were contacted by a local area hospital regarding a female juvenile who had been sexually assaulted.

Following a thorough investigation, sex crimes detectives have obtained a warrant for Julius Amos for one count of second-degree rape. SPD is asking for anyone with information on his whereabouts to please contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300.
