SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Make Arrests in January Shooting Incident
The Shreveport Police Department has apprehended 39-year-old Cordell Clay in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on January 21st.
On January 21st, officers responded to the 2100 block of Hardy Street following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, it was determined that the incident was of a domestic nature where gunshots were fired inside a residence. However, the suspect had already fled the scene.
After diligent investigation, Cordell Clay was taken into custody on April 11, 2024. He faces multiple charges, including one count of aggravated property damage, one count of aggravated assault, one count of illegal use of a dangerous weapon, one count of simple assault, and one count of possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of domestic abuse.
We are required to remind that all suspects are innocent until found guilty.
