SHREVEPORT, LA    SPD K-9 Hic Arrests Burglar

On July 15, at approximately 12:27 AM, Shreveport Police Officers responded to a structural alarm at a residence in the 600 block of March Street. Upon arrival, officers noted that a window was open, and it appeared someone was inside the residence.

Shreveport Police Patrol officers contacted Shreveport Police K-9 Hic. K-9 Hic and his handler responded to the scene and deployed Hic into the residence through the open window. Once inside, K-9 Hic quickly located Lincoln Coleman, 28 years of age.

Coleman has been charged with one count of simple burglary and one count of property damage. He was treated at a local area hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.
