The officers contacted 21-year-old Kristopher Sweeney, who was found to be armed with a handgun.
Sweeney is a convicted felon. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Later on August 28th, VCAT officers responded to a tip from Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers about guns in a home on Edgewood Boulevard. Once they arrived, officers contacted 21-year-old Kyron Thomas. He was found to be in possession of a gun and drugs.
Thomas was arrested and charged with the following:
· Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
· Illegal carrying of a weapon with a CDS
· Negligent carrying of a concealed handgun
