Shreveport Police Arrest 2 & Seize Firearms
SHREVEPORT, LA- Two Arrested, Firearms Seized After Investigation on West 77th Street
On September 18, 2024, at approximately 11:30 AM, members of the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Abatement Team (VCAT) and Juvenile Youth Justice were investigating a traffic stop in the 400 block of West 77th Street, where multiple subjects fled the scene. During the investigation, officers identified one of the suspects as Thaddius Williams (DOB: 08/14/2004), who was wanted by their office and had outstanding warrants through the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
VCAT members followed up on information indicating that Williams had been seen entering a residence on West 77th Street. When officers entered the residence, Williams fled on foot. After a brief search, VCAT members located Williams hiding in an abandoned building in the 400 block of Harrison Street.
Following the apprehension of Williams, officers obtained a search warrant for the residence on West 77th Street, where they recovered two firearms and an automatic device. All recovered items were submitted to the SPD Property Room for safekeeping and future court proceedings.
Another individual inside the residence, Cardravios Robinson (DOB: 07/07/2003), was also wanted on outstanding warrants and was taken into custody. Both Williams, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms, and Robinson were transported to the Shreveport Police Department Jail for processing.
