Shreveport Police Arrest 2 in July Shooting Incident
SHREVEPORT, LA- Two Arrests Made in July Shooting Incident
On July 29, 2024, Shreveport Police responded to multiple calls reporting shots fired at 541 East Stoner Avenue, specifically at the Stone Vista Apartments. Upon arrival at the north side of the complex, officers determined that three occupied apartment units and a single occupied vehicle had been struck by gunfire. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
After a thorough investigation, Shreveport Police arrested Aaron Small and Demarcus Eiland on August 18th in the 1400 block of Hollywood Avenue. This case serves as a prime example of the effective use of the Real-Time Crime Center, which played an integral role in the investigation. The relentless efforts of Shreveport Police Patrol officers further contributed to the successful apprehension of the suspects.
Small and Eiland have been charged with aggravated criminal property damage. The investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected in the coming days.
