
Shreveport Police Arrest 2 Felons with Guns During Traffic Stop
SHREVEPORT, LA. Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests of Convicted Felons with Firearms
On December 17, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Shreveport Police K-9 Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Greenwood Road and Jacinto Avenue. During the course of the stop, officers discovered that the driver and passenger were in possession of firearms and were both convicted felons.
As a result of the investigation, the following arrests were made:
· Katherine Farrar (Driver): Arrested for Illegal Carrying of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and multiple traffic offenses.
· Phillip Adkins (Passenger): Arrested for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Both individuals were transported to the Shreveport City Jail. The firearms involved in the incident have been seized as evidence.
