Jordan refused to cooperate and escalated the situation by physically attacking the responding officer. During the altercation, Jordan bit the officer on the chest and attempted to grab the officer’s firearm. Despite the assault, the officer was able to retain control of the firearm, disengage from Jordan, and ultimately restrain and take him into custody.

Both Jordan and the officer were treated at the scene by the Shreveport Fire Department. Jordan has been charged with one count of battery on a police officer and one count of attempting to disarm a police officer.

Thanks to the officer's professionalism and composure, the situation was resolved with minimal force, ensuring the safety of everyone involved.
