
Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Parking Lot Shooting
On Sunday afternoon, Shreveport Police were called out to McKinley Avenue to reports of a shooting.
When Police got to the scene, they made contact with one of the victims, who said a man approached them and fired a shot before driving away. A car that was between the victims and the shooter was hit by a bullet. The car's owner was found and was brought to the scene to assess the damage. SPD immediately started an investigation to try and find the shooter.
On Monday, Detectives with the Violent Crimes Abatement Team conducted interviews with victims and witnesses. Detectives were able to determine that Jordan Walker was identified as a person of interest.
Yesterday, SPD was able to catch up with with Walker. They Arrested him on the following charges:
· Illegal Use of a Weapon (Felony)
· Criminal Damage to Property (Felony)
