
Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Online Sex Crimes
The Shreveport Police Department has been working hard in the ongoing fight to protect children from online exploitation.
The Shreveport Police Department Vice Unit has been working alongside the Louisiana Attorney General's Office and the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation to conduct investigations in to people who exploit children for human trafficking and sexual abuse.
Shreveport Police arrested David Clark in this operation, Clark was charged with:
· Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
· Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor
Clark is accused of attempting to engage in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department, in coordination with the ICAC Task Force and its state and federal partners, will continue to investigate, arrest, and aggressively pursue prosecution of online predators who target children.
We also remain committed to educating families about online safety. Parents and guardians are encouraged to actively monitor their children’s internet activity, maintain open communication about online interactions, and report suspicious behavior to law enforcement immediately.
Protecting our children is not optional — it is our priority."
