
Shreveport Murder Victim Identified
The Caddo Coroner's Office has identified the man whose body was found Monday behind a vacant house.
Shreveport Police were called to the 1200 block of Travis Street Monday, October 3 in response to man who had been shot in the hand. During the investigation into that shooting, a resident of the neighborhood informed officers there was a dead man behind a building.
The body of 18-year-old Bobby Evans of Shreveport was found lying behind a vacant house with apparent gunshot wounds. Evans, who had just turned 18 at the end of September, was identified by distinctive body markings and tattoos.
Later, a third gunshot victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.
The investigation into the fatal shooting, as well as the other two, remain ongoing.
