Back in 2024, Shreveport Police were called to a shooting on Milam Street.
When Police got to the scene, Officers learned that a man named Trevion Marshall had been shot. A friend had tried taking him to the hospital in a private car, but Shreveport Fire Personnel was already on the way to the shooting, and intercepted them, and were able to render aid. Marshall was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Shreveport Police's Violent Crimes Unit started an in-depth investigation, and were able to identify Shontavios Rogers as the person suspected to be responsible for the shooting.
Thanks to the amazing work of SPD with the help of the US Marshals, Rogers was located in Fort Worth, Texas Last week. He was extradited from Texas to Shreveport and was booked in to the Caddo Correctional Center this week.
