27 year-old Reginald Roberson pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in Caddo District Court. Roberson will go to trial for the 2023 slaying of 72 year-old Eddie Lee Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was found near David Raines Road in the MLK neighborhood with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. A tip through Crimestoppers produced Roberson as a suspect in the shooting. There were no witnesses.

Roberson is now facing 30 years in prison. The plea and sentencing were approved by and coordinated with the victim's family.
