SHREVEPORT, LA-    Man Wanted in Violent Domestic Incident

The Shreveport Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit is actively searching for 42-year-old Michael Bankston, who is wanted in connection with a violent domestic incident that occurred on August 3, 2024, in the 8200 block of Burning Tree Circle.

Bankston is accused of using force or violence against a female victim and intentionally inflicting serious bodily injury without her consent. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Bankston, charging him with the Battery of a Dating Partner with Serious Bodily Injury, one count of Home Invasion, and one count of Interfering with Emergency Communication.
