Shreveport Man Shot While Walking His Children to School

Shreveport Police Were called to the scene of a shooting just before 7:00 am on Monday (3/6/23). The call came from the 2600 block of Lindholm Street near Hearne Avenue.

Reports are saying that a man walking his children to school was shot in the chest by a person who was on foot. After the shooting, the armed suspect was said to have fled the scene, still on foot.

12 units were on the scene of the crime, and police are working to bring the suspect to justice.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is being treated for his injuries. Reports say the man is in critical condition.
