Shreveport Man Faces Burglary Charges in Bossier Parish
A man suspected of stealing items from unlocked vehicles and detached garages in Bossier neighborhoods last month is now in the Bossier Maximum Security Facility.
24-year-old Charles Philyaw of Shreveport was arrested earlier this month by Caddo deputies after they found him in possession of a 4-wheeler that had been stolen from the Swan Lake area in Bossier in January.
Charles and his brother Mathew were arrested on theft charges by Caddo deputies. Charles was also charged in Caddo with numerous drug charges. Now he faces 13 counts of simple burglary, four counts of unauthorized used of an access card, and one count of simple criminal property damage in Bossier Parish.
