
Shreveport Man Arrested With Over 40 Grams Of Crack Cocaine

A 31-year-old Shreveport man faces serious drug charges, according to Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator.
Prator says that agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit exercised a narcotics search warrant on Friday September 24th that resulted in the discovery of more than 85 ounces of illegal drugs. The search took place in the 200 block of Egan Street in Shreveport.
Agents found 42.7 grams of crack cocaine, as well as 43.6 grams of methamphetamine at the residence. After finding the drugs, they arrested 31-year-old Thomas Adams of Shreveport.
Adams was charged with two counts of Possession With Intent of a Schedule II Drug. Each charge carries a penalty of up to 30 years in prison. Adams was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
