Shreveport Man Arrested for Threatening Family Member With a Gun

On August 7th, 2023, at 8:25 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call of an armed person in the 4900 block of Waters Place. Responding officers found that a male was armed with a firearm and reported to have threatened to kill a female family member.

Further investigation revealed that Hadrian Carr (11-05-98) was involved in a dispute when he reportedly produced a handgun and threatened a family member. Carr was taken into custody by the responding officers and the firearm was recovered.

Carr was arrested by patrol officers and charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of a concealed weapon, one count of possession of schedule one with intent, and one count of possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance. No persons were injured in this incident.

We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
