Shreveport Man Arrested for 1st Degree Rape of Child Under 13
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Rape of a Child
Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department have arrested 19-year-old Orion Ivory in connection with a sexual assault that occurred earlier this year. Ivory has been charged with one count of first-degree rape.ND
Ivory is accused of forcibly raping a victim under the age of 13. Under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:42, anyone convicted of first-degree rape may face life imprisonment at hard labor. In cases where the victim is under the age of 13, the offender may be eligible to receive the death penalty.
