Shreveport Man Arrested After Strangulation Attack
SHERVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Arrest Man in Domestic Dispute
On May 11, at approximately 8 p.m., officers from the Shreveport Police Department responded to a call of domestic trouble in the 9100 block of Linwood Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a female had been involved in a domestic dispute and was suffering from injuries sustained during the incident.
The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Nicholas Meeks, has been arrested and is facing charges of one count of domestic abuse battery with strangulation and one count of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
Fortunately, the victim is expected to recover from her injuries.
