Shreveport Man Arrested After Disturbing Domestic Incident
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police make an arrest in domestic incident
On February 4, 2024, at approximately 11:40 A.M., Shreveport Police responded to a distress call in the 1100 block of Boulevard Street regarding a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a concerning situation involving 36-year-old Jeremy Long, who allegedly locked the victim in a room during a physical struggle. Disturbingly, this incident unfolded in the presence of three children.
Jeremy Long has been apprehended and is now facing charges, including one count of false imprisonment, one count of felony domestic abuse battery, and three counts of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
The accused is currently in custody, and the legal process will proceed. Shreveport Police Department urges domestic abuse victims to seek support and take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare of children involved in these cases.
