Shreveport Police Seeking Juvenile Escapee From Medical Facility

The Shreveport Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating 15-year-old Karter Maxie, who went missing from the custody of the Office of Juvenile Justice on March 24, 2024.

Maxie, described as approximately 5’7 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with short black dreadlocks, was last seen at a medical facility before his disappearance. He was wearing blue jeans with ripped denim designs, a black sweater, and brown slide shoes.

The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone with information on Maxie's whereabouts to contact them immediately at 318-673-7300.

Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be crucial in locating Karter Maxie and ensuring his safe return to custody.
