Shreveport Police Asking for Public’s Help to Identity of a Burglar
Shreveport Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary that occurred back in February.
Officers were notified of a burglary at Sweet Glaze Donuts, on Shreveport-Barksdale Highway. During the incident, a masked person shattered the business’s front glass door using a rock.
Once inside, the suspect stole snacks and drinks from the business before leaving through the same broken front door.
The suspect is described as a black male, around 6 feet tall and around 240 pounds. At the time of the burglary, he was wearing a tan or gold hoodie, black sweatpants, and black tennis shoes, and was carrying a bag.
Detectives are actively investigating this incident and are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or have information about the case to come forward. Any information that could lead to arrest would be helpful.
From SPD:
"Anyone with information is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tips can also be submitted anonymously, and individuals may be eligible for a reward for information leading to an arrest.
