SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police officers make arrest in home invasion after the victim was attacked.

On July 18th, 2023, around 7:34 a.m. Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a domestic trouble in progress in the 7400 block of Glenleaf Road. The caller told dispatchers that her child's father forced his way into the residence and was assaulting the victim. The caller advised that the suspect was also armed with a knife.

Officers arrived and contacted Christopher Morris (3-16-98). They discovered that Morris had reportedly entered the residence without consent and choked the victim. The responding officer's investigation discovered multiple facts and circumstances that led to the arrest of Morris.

After responding officers conducted their investigation Morris was arrested for one count of Home Invasion, and one count of Domestic Abuse battery.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
