Shreveport Police Seeking Man for Home Improvement Fraud
The Shreveport Police Department is asking for help locating a man wanted in a home improvement fraud investigation.
According to the complainant, back in 2025, he entered into a contract with Perreton Davis, representing Davis Development & Investments LLC, to perform remodeling work on a rental property. The victim reported that while Davis started some of the work, he failed to complete the work in the contract.
The victim showed the Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force documentation supporting the complaint, including a copy of the project estimate, payment records, and text messages between him and Davis.
Detectives contacted the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors to verify Davis’ credentials. It was determined that Davis did not have a valid commercial or residential contractor’s license, nor a Home Improvement Registration required to perform this type of work.
Davis Development & Investments LLC was found to not be in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State.
