Habitual Theft Offender Arrested in Shreveport

Shreveport Police arrested a man after officers responded to Raceway on Mansfield Road in reference to a theft.

SPD Officers arrived and took Danny Johnson into custody. During the investigation, officers found out he has more than 20 theft-related arrests overall, including the following arrests within the past seven years alone:

• 09/22/2024
• 04/17/2023
• 10/13/2022
• 10/04/2022
• 09/10/2021
• 06/04/2021
• 03/12/2021
• 07/16/2020
• 09/12/2019

When Officers searched Johnson found a theft citation still in his pocket with a court date scheduled for July.

Johnson was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a habitual offender charge.
