
Shreveport Man Arrested for Pulling Gun During Road Rage
Yesterday, Shreveport Police got a call from Superior Grill on Line Avenue for a road rage disturbance.
According to SPD, Henry Bond got in to an altercation with another driver during a traffic dispute. Witnesses told Police that Bond cut-off the car, forcing it to stop. During the heated situation, Bond (according to witnesses) pulled a gun and pointed it at the driver of the car.
When Bond drove off, the victim followed him in their car. Things got heated again according to SPD, when Bond pulled in to Superior Grill. The victim was able to flag down an SPD Officer near the location. The Officer approached Bond and took control of the situation.
After a short investigation, SPD were able to arrest Bond for aggravated assault with a firearm.

"The Shreveport Police Department would like to remind the public that road rage is an unnecessary and dangerous form of violence. We urge all drivers to remain calm, courteous, and respectful while sharing the roadway. Under no circumstances should a firearm be introduced into a traffic dispute."
